Joining the Club
Please note, our memberships are currently at capacity. However, we are hoping to start accepting new members again soon. See below the membership process:
If you wish to join the Mundaring Marksmen Association, there are a number of steps you must follow:
1. You must first be a member of the S.S.A.A. (Sporting Shooters Association of Australia). Not a member yet? You can join here
2. Register for an Open Day on the following links. Registrations are mandatory.
Pistol Open Days
Rifle Open Days
Shotgun: Please contact shotgun@mundaring-marksmen.com.au to arrange mandatory training prior to joining a club shoot.
3. Should a member spot become available, and if we believe you would be a good match for our club, the discipline captain will offer you to start the membership process
4. Undergo the relevant training session (rifle, pistol, and/or shotgun)
5. Attend eight ( 8 ) calendar matches with our current members in an appropriate discipline and have your Membership Application form signed by the Range Officer on each of the days.
6. Submit your completed membership application form for the committees review along with the appropriate fee.
Please note:
You must have your own licensed firearm to attend an Open Day, or be able to use a friend’s firearm (they must be present). Club firearms will not be available for hire for pistol and rifle Open Days.
Calendar matches are only open to current members or aspiring members who have been invited to start the membership process
The 8 calendar matches required for the membership application will only be counted from the day you have been offered to start the process
We do not accept membership forms that have not been through all 6 stages of the process
The pistol and rifle trainings are mandatory to be allowed to join a calendar match in the relevant disciplines
Please note, our calendar matches are reserved for our members.
Visitors are welcome to our Open Days to sight in new firearms, test new loads, or just have a nice day on the range.
